What does savvy mean to us? Our vision is to inspire more people to want to live an active life. To make those small everyday decisions that actually have a positive impact on our long-term health. Savvy means smart, and it's precisely these smart choices we want to encourage and inspire all of us to make.

We want to share 5 tips that can help you lead a more active daily life:

  1. Try to transport yourself in a more active way. Can you park your car a bit further from the office and get a 10-minute walk in before work? Do your children have activities, and can you take a few minutes to get some exercise while they're busy?
  2. Try to be active during the workday. Can you stand at your computer for a while instead of sitting? Aim to take those extra steps, perhaps you can have a phone meeting while going for a walk?
  3. Implement a classic rule: Always take the stairs instead of the elevator when the choice is available.
  4. Decide to be extra active one or two days a week. Maybe you can fit in a workout during lunch? An effective run or even a group gym session?
  5. Incorporate some light exercise into your daily chores. Why not do some squats while standing at the stove? Or while folding laundry?
